Together with the youth, we are building a world where everyone can lead a meaningful life.
We at the Children and Youth Foundation believe, that a meaningful and sustainable future is built together with the youth. The sense of meaningfulness consists of self-knowledge, sense of belonging, faith for the future and one’s feeling of being able to help others.
Creating of a better future requires futures literacy; the ability to understand how present affects the future and vice versa. It also requires imagination. Before making a better future to happen, you have to be able to imagine it.
Together with the youth and our broad network of partners, we are building a world where everyone can lead a meaningful life. When all is uncertain, anything is possible.
History of the Foundation
The Children and Youth Foundation was founded in 2001. Since then, the Foundation has supported the youth in multiple ways. During the two decades, hundreds of thousands of youngsters have benefitted from our work in and outside of Finland.
