The data collected in the online donation form are intended only for donations to the Children and Youth Foundation.
The data register is maintained by the Children and Youth Foundation.
The contact person regarding the data register is Head of Finance and Administration Janne Halmekoski.
The register consists of data provided electronically, which is used by request of the donor in donor communications. The name of the donor will be made public if the donor provides permission for this.
The register is stored in electronic format.
The data in the register will not be distributed to other parties.
Anybody who sends their information to the register has the right to check the information regarding him-/herself, the right to demand that inaccurate information be rectified and the right to invoke his/her other rights protected by the Personal Data Act.

4. Purpose of the register
The register is used for communications by the Children and Youth Foundation. Any registered person can prohibit the use of his/her information by notifying the administrator of the register.
5. Content of the register data
The register includes the following information:
- E-mail address
- Other information provided by the person
6. Authorised information sources
The register consists of information from the Children and Youth Foundation’s customer data system, generally available sources, and information provided by the person him-/herself.
7. Distribution of information
The administrator of the register will not distribute the personal data of registered persons to outside parties. For the purposes of technical data processing, some information may be physically located on subcontractors’ servers or equipment. Personal data will not be distributed outside of the EU or European Economic Area.
8. Protection of the register
The register cannot be used by outside parties. The register data are stored appropriately on a protected server and may be used only by persons defined in advance by the Head of Finance and Administration.
9. Right to verify information
All registered persons have the right to verify the register data about themselves. A verification request must be presented in writing in a signed letter or in person at the premises of the administrator of the register. The administrator of the register will grant the registered person the opportunity to view the register data without unnecessary delay and, if requested, will provide the information in writing. The right to verify the information is free of charge if the data are verified once a year. Requests to verify the information must be delivered to the person in charge of register matters.
10. Right to refuse and of rectification of inaccurate information.
All registered persons have the right to end their subscription to the Children and Youth Foundation’s newsletters at any time and thereby refuse to receive the newsletters. In this case, the administrator of the register will remove all data concerning this person from the register. Exceptions include registration as a donor and the registered person’s request to receive information on donation-related matters.
The notification to stop receiving the newsletter can be made using a separate form (or by notifying the person in charge of register matters via e-mail).
All registered persons have the right to demand that inaccurate information in the register be rectified. The request for rectification must be made in writing and it must include the information to be rectified. The request for rectification must be made to the person in charge of register matters.
