International Programme
FCYF's international program promotes and supports the wellbeing of youth in developing countries. We have development cooperation projects, which are implemented together with local partner organisations in Latin America and Africa. In 2012 there are eight projects in six different countries.
The international program covers about half of the foundation’s activities. It challenges different actors of the society to take global responsibility on disadvantaged youth. Responsible corporations, communities and their personnel can contribute to the wellbeing of world’s youth and to global development through the program.
The program supports the realization of Finland’s Development Policy and Millennium Development Goals.
The activities focus on three thematic areas
Strengthening the life skills of youth is central in all the activities. Foundation is looking for partnerships with competent and expertise organizations which have gained experience and knowledge within the thematic areas of the international program of FCYF.
